Custom Design and Planning:
Whether you choose an existing plan, customize a Cedar or Log Home from our vast plan library or we start from scratch from your own conceptual drawing, our goal is to bring your home to reality. Experience has shown that the dynamics of your property will play a major role in the design of your home so a site visit is vital part of our planning process. Budget is certainly a key issue and designing a home you can't afford to build only leads to delays and frustration. Probably your first crucial investment should be procuring the new Lindal Living Dreams Plan Book which provides a wealth of design ideas and important building considerations. This can be ordered online or you can visit our Design Center where we can sit down and discuss your project. The design process can take anywhere from just a few days to several months depending on the complexity and number of revisions. The Lindal Building Experience is unique in that in most cases the need for an architect is eliminated as the Lindal Design Team fulfils this function at a fraction of the cost. Construction options:
We realize that the design and timely delivery of your Lindal Home represents only half of your completed project. From the time your home is delivered to your moving in our commitment doesn't waver, however the extent of our involvement is dictated by the Construction Fulfillment Plan. This plan is derived from the following building options and their relative cost implications as determined from A-E (A - most costly to E - least costly):

You plan to be only minimally involved in the construction process, such as finishing decisions or design revisions, and have General Contractor take overall responsibility.
You plan to be responsible for one or more sub-contracts but want a GC to have overall responsibility for the building project. This GC can be of your choosing.
We assume the role as Project Manager, whereby we coordinate the building process and solicit bids, but jointly evaluate and make spending decisions.
You plan to have the Lindal Package erected (by our contractor or yours) to a weather tight lock-up stage and complete the finishing yourself.
You plan to be actively involved in the construction process and act as your own General Contractor.
