At the Lindal Cedar Homes Plant

Most lumber on the market isn't what it used to be -- and much that passes industry grading doesn't make the grade at Lindal. The cedar in your Lindal home is kiln-dried, which reduces moisture content and in turn reduces the chance for warping, twisting and shrinking so common with green wood and air-dried lumber.

The final visual inspection of all of the lumber for your home ensures that you are receiving the finest wood available. Each beam is individually inspected and handwrapped, made-to-order for your home.

At the Building Site

The Lindal home package is delivered by truck to your building site, where the builder unloads the material and your Lindal dealer takes a complete materials inventory.

A storage container for your building materials is highly recommended.

During Construction

Your builder begins construction of the floor system, followed by posts, beams, rafters and roof sheathing. Next come the windows and doors.
